Jahna is passionate about helping people release chronic muscle tension, pain and stiffness and in doing so, rediscovering their ability to move with a sense of freedom, feeling more relaxed and at ease within themselves.
She has always been interested in empowering people to help themselves and first trained as a Clinical Psychologist. She took up Yoga over 20 years ago as a way to de-stress and fell in love with this ancient wise practice and has been a qualified Yoga teacher for over 10 years.
When she first experienced the Somatic Exercises she knew she had discovered something truly wonderful. She was amazed at how relaxed her muscles and body felt after the movements and could feel the tension melting away.
Jahna qualified as a Somatic Exercise Coach in 2014 and teaches Somatic Movement Workshops, Classes and Courses throughout the year. In 2015 she began her three year training in Clinical Somatics with Martha Peterson and now is beginning to offer this potent hands on Somatics approach in her one to one sessions.
