Pain-Free Neck and Shoulders
Learn to relax chronically contracted neck and shoulder muscles for long term pain-relief. Participants will learn gently, easy movements that will help them release stooped, rounded shoulders that can develop due to repetitive computer work, excessive driving or sitting. We will also address stiff, painful necks that can occur due to overly contracted back muscles. Participants will learn to release the muscles of the core in order to experience the connection between the neck and the entire spine; this will add to improved mobility in the back as well as the neck and shoulders.
This workshop is of special interest to anyone suffering from chronic tension headaches, or migraines, or those who sit for long hours at a computer or in a car. For those who have had a car accident or sports injury, this workshop will be very beneficial.
