If so, come explore The Myth of Aging, the basic movement series developed by Thomas Hanna, Ph.D, author of the book, Somatics. Reacquaint yourself with the muscles of your body that, when held unconsciously, contribute to chronic pain patterns, normally assumed to be the inevitable result of aging.
Come learn gentle, safe and easy somatic movements that teach you to improve body awareness, freedom of movement,
coordination and balance. Leave with a basic movement routine you can do on your own to stay relaxed and moving freely every day.
This workshop is of special interest to those with recurring injuries, chronic aches and pains, back pain, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, neck and shoulder pain and mobility problems.
