Online Class Registration Cancellation
Online class registration is nonrefundable. Any cancellations for online class registration will be eligible for a credit. No credit will be available for no-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance.
Credit from a product purchase, class, consultation, session, workshop, or training is available for one year only from date of issue. To apply your credit, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prepaid Session/Consultation Cancellation
Online private sessions or video consultations are eligible for a full refund minus a 5% cancellation fee if canceling more than 24 hours in advance. If you purchased a discounted session package, the sessions you have already received will be treated as full price sessions and you will be refunded the difference. Reimbursement is not available in the event of a no-show or a cancellation/reschedule request less than 24 hours in advance.
Workshops & Retreats
A full refund, minus a 20% cancellation fee, is available for cancellations more than 4 weeks prior to the start date of an Essential Somatics® event. Cancellations less than 4 weeks prior to event start date are eligible for a credit that is valid for one year from date of issue.
Covid-19 & in-person events
UPDATED JUNE 1, 2022
As of June 1, 2022, all participants and staff at an Essential Somatics® in-person event (i.e. retreat, training, or workshop) are strongly encouraged, but not required, to be vaccinated and/or to take a PCR or lateral flow test before and during an Essential Somatics event. Regional guidelines and venue policies regarding Covid safety will also be observed; participants at in-person events will be notified of any additional safety measures prior to the start of an event.
As a company that brings people together for group learning, Essential Somatics is committed to providing a safe environment for our program participants and teachers. This policy safeguards the health of our families, our healthcare workers and first responders, our students, and the community at large, and is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: All refunds will be made via the original payment method. Administrative fees will not be refunded. All refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of written notice of cancellation and upon return of the Student Manual.
Five-Day Cancellation: An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within five (5) days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and federal or state holidays) of paying the initial deposit or tuition payment in full is entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus any credit card fees.
Denial of Enrollment: If an applicant is denied enrollment, 100% of all student fees and tuition paid will be returned within 30 days of denial.
Procedure for withdrawal: A student choosing to withdraw from the program after the commencement of classes is to provide written notice via email to the Program Director. The receipt date of the written request to withdraw will be considered the withdrawal date.
A student will be automatically withdrawn if s/he has missed one in-person or online class and does not notify staff within 24hrs of the class date. In this case, the withdrawal date will be the date of the missed class.
ESMTT Tuition Refund Policy
- If tuition is paid in full upfront:
- Withdrawal requested in writing within 4 weeks of the start of the program: 50% refund on tuition fees, minus administrative fee subject to original payment method used
- If tuition is not paid in full:
- Withdrawal requested in writing within 4 weeks of the start of the program: 20% refund on tuition fees paid, minus administrative fee subject to original payment method used
- After 4 weeks from the start of the program, no refunds or credits are available.
