Ewan Smith is a Clinical Somatic Educator based in Montrose, Scotland, and the founder of The Soma Room – Montrose. With a background spanning over 40 years in movement practices, including skiing, traditional martial arts and Tai Chi, and more than two decades in technology and business, he brings a unique, integrative perspective to health and well-being.
After completing six-years of professional training, to become a Certified Essential Somatic Movement Teacher and Clinical Somatic Educator, Ewan now specialises in helping people overcome chronic pain, tension, and movement limitations through gentle, nervous-system-based education. His approach is grounded, compassionate, and empowering, supporting clients to reconnect with their bodies, restore natural movement, and build lasting self-care skills.
At The Soma Room – Montrose, he combines Clinical Somatics with complementary methods to offer a calm, supportive space for learning, recovery, and long-term resilience.
