Liz Underwood, CCSE first experienced Somatics during her Yoga Teacher Training in 2005. She was introduced to it again in 2015 at a workshop with Liz Koch and, at that same time, her Yoga Therapy mentors were talking about and training in Somatics; Liz decided she needed to find out more. At her HSEC 1 training with Essential Somatics Liz felt she had come full circle in her self-care movement practice but more importantly, she felt she had come home to herself. The natural, simple movements made sense to her and she felt more ease and less tension than ever before.
Liz began to bring Somatic Movements into her Yoga classes and in 2017, recognising the need that there was a missing piece for anyone with chronic muscular pain, she decided to specialise in Somatic Movement Education. Liz now dedicates her time teaching and spreading the word on Somatic Movement Education.
Liz teaches weekly classes, monthly workshops and works individually offering Clinical appointments in Lincoln and Gainsborough.
