Essential Somatics: Restore Freedom of Movement

  • OMEGA Institute of Hoilstic Studies 150 Lake Drive Rhinebeck, NY, 12572 United States (map)

Free yourself from chronic pain by learning to rewire your habitual brain with somatic expert Martha Peterson.

Have you tried to address chronic pain, only to find short-term relief—or none at all? Trauma, stress, and overcompensation can limit or change how we unconsciously express our physical range over time, locking us into recurring discomfort and emotional anguish. This is why eliminating muscle pain, stiffness, and the feeling of “getting old” starts with the brain. Mastering conscious body mechanics is the key to flexibility and freedom of movement.

Movement and somatic expert Martha Peterson teaches you how to restore fluid, effortless, and joyful movement, on your own, at any time and place. Learn to reprogram your consciousness to relax your muscles, stop habitual pain and tightening, improve reflexive or poor posture, and lengthen muscles safely without stretching in everyday life and after exercise.

Be more present and comfortable in your body and life. Return home with a daily routine of easy, safe, and effective movements that restore improved muscle function and achieve long-term pain relief.
